Israel In The Line of Fire By Zemira Eli Natan

Zemira Eli Natan
Executive Director
International Unity for Freedom and Equality

"India along with BRICS countries today voted in support of a UN Human Rights Council resolution to launch a probe into Israel's offensive on Gaza.
India joined Brazil, Russia, China and South Africa to vote for a Palestinian-drafted resolution on "Ensuring Respect for international law in The Occupied Palestinian Territories, including East Jersusalem".
In the 46-member council, 29 countries voted in support of the resolution while 17 nations abstained.
The US was the only nation to vote against the resolution.
European countries abstained."

In an effort to show what it is like for Israel to constantly be in the line of fire by such entities as the UN it has become necessary to clarify some myths.

The first myth is that Israel is an occupier.

This link has been provided for the sake of those wishing to learn more about this conflict from a Jewish source rather than a Muslim source which currently floods the internet.  It is encouraged for  everyone to open their minds and their hearts to the side who has no need to use propaganda or dishonesty to deliver truth for the world to see and hear.

The fact is that Arabs are the occupiers on Jewish land  .  The Jews have maintained a consistent presence in Israel for over four thousand years.  Our Current Calendar dates are calulated to the present year 5774!    Palestinians were given sovereignty of the disputed areas of Judea and Samaria  known to Palestinians as the West Bank and Gaza.

Israel only entered these territories to protect Israeli citizens from constant harassment by Terrorists of Hamas and other terrorist organizations working to destroy the Jewish People.  Israel withdrew entirely from these territories at certain points in history until hostilities continued to effect Israeli neighborhoods putting Israeli civilians at risk.

Hamas continues to fire at our forces from Wafa Hospital in Gaza. Its terrorists have turned the hospital into a command center and a rocket-launching site. For this reason, we are targeting specific sites and terrorists within the hospital grounds. We repeatedly conveyed warnings to the hospital staff and urged civilians to leave the area in advance. Hamas is telling them to stay.

The second myth is that Israel kills innocent men , women and children.

The fact is that terrorist organizations like HAMAS use their own women and children as human shields to surround their rocket launching pads which fire missiles from schools, mosques, churches and hospitals from Gaza into Israeli civilian targets.  the IAF and IDF warn civilians to evacuate all territories in several ways by leaflets, phone calls and door to door before any operation commences.  Palestinian choices to put their own civilians at risk does not negate the fact that they are committing double war crimes by doing this!  Israelis treat victims on both sides that suffer as a result of this conflict on the ground in field hospitals which Palestinians open fire upon with mission to destroy them.

http://youtu.be/DyufNOLR8GE

This video shows how are rocket fired into Israel caused a wedding to be disrupted as guests ran for their shelters in the midst of a falling rocket!  Sometimes the Iron Dome misses a few.  It does not  intercept every rocket but it is very effective in protecting highly populated Israeli neighborhoods.

What is it like for Israelis to have only 15 seconds after the sounding of a red alert alarm to run to safe room or a shelter underground?  How can a bride and bridegroom forget the experience of having these rockets fired upon them as they are celebrating their marriage?  Life resumes despite this danger that effects Israelis every single day, but what kind of life is that when children need to live in fear while in school or at play  every single day and then  have to spend most of their time in a safe room or bomb shelter?  Every Israeli is a target for HAMAS!  That includes civilians, innocent men, women and children and military personnel.  The link below is the HAMAS Charter which clearly defines its mission against the Jewish People and all Israel

http://www.thejerusalemfund.org/www.thejerusalemfund.org/carryover/documents/charter.html?chocaid=397

The Third Myth is that Israel is committing an offensive in the  disputed region known to Palestinians as Gaza.

The fact is that it is written in the PLO Charter that all Israelis and Jews must be killed or driven into the sea.  It is well known that Israel has made several attempts to acquire peace from the Palestinians.  HAMAS leaders make no secret about what must be done to the Jews.  Israel  has attempted to come to the table in multiple efforts in the interest of peace.  HAMAS broke two cease fires and continued to launch numerous rockets into Israel rockets into Israel.

There are many examples of how Israelis live despite being in the Line of Fire.  here are some examples that come directly from Israelis living in the line of fire.

Remember Gilad, Naftali and Eyal?  These three boys were abducted by HAMAS and brutally murdered in cold blood.  Here is their story in the link below.  And please take a moment to view the reaction of Israelis when the bodies were found.  The Entire Jewish world both in Israel and in the Diaspora mourned the loss of these innocent children!

http://nyti.ms/1mAHPse

This is just an overview of the many victims on both sides that have been killed since operation Protective Edge began.  Please be very careful when listening to medias that portray Israel as the aggressor in this conflict.  There are high chances that you are buying into Muslim propaganda that is designed to intentionally discredit and delegitimize Israel.  Please do not fall prey to this kind of blatant disregard for truth.  It is not in the best interests of the world peace efforts that are  currently in progress to fight against the ideology that has promoted the committing of  these crimes throughout the course of history.  It is the duty of the International Community to stand for and defend truth  rather than support and encourage lies.

The common accusation that Israel broke International Laws  in its efforts to combat terrorism can be disputed by the following facts.  Israel has more than enough evidence to prove that they have broken no international laws with regard to any of of its operations against terrorists.  Israel takes extra measures to ensure that this will not occur and every precaution to protect all civilians on both sides.   Israel averted airstrikes in Gaza due to the presence of civilians.   Israel always has followed international law with regard to every action it takes to protect its citizens.

Zemira Eli Natan
Executive Director
International Unity for Freedom and Equality

-----IUFE SPECIAL REPORT-----

Adv. Rabindra Ghosh of Bangladesh Minority Watch is again threatened
by S.P.Lalmonirhat District on 14.07.2014 in Bangladesh:

Cause of Intimidation by T.M. Mozahidul Islam- S.P. Lalmonirhat.

Only yesterday on 14th July, 2014 while I wanted to know from S.P.
Lalmonirhat the recent attack on 13th July, 2014 upon Hindu Minorities
at Patgram Upazila of Lalmonirhat District (news published in the
Daily Star dated 14th July, 14) and also abduction, rape and forceful
conversion to Islam of minor Hindu girl – Ms. Pinky Roy (11 years 9
months) at Aditmari Upazila of Lalmorhat District reported in daily
news papers. During our discussion over cell phone No. +01713373941
with Mr.   T.M. Mozahidul Islam, Superintendent if Police on the spur
of moment started to rebuke me with filthy languages being religiously
motivated saying   “Do you recollect the incident at Chandpur District
while I tried to arrest you for your illegal activities filming photo
and video of the victims relating to land grabbing case while I was
the Additional Superintendent of Police, Chandpur” I politely replied
that “You have done a good work trying to arrest me for a good cause.
He started threaten me not to disturb him any more for any human
rights issues in his jurisdiction. He also continue to say “Why you
are not going to Israel to fight against them to show your human
rights activities there as Israeli soldiers are murdering innocent
Muslims in Jerusalem”

Previously also T.M. Mozahidul Islam, while he was Additional
Superintendent of Police, posted at Chandpur District in the year,
2010 he also tried to snatch away our video camera and put our camera
man confined in a room most illegally to suppress the violations of
religious rights on Hindu Temple situated at South Motlab Upazila of
Chandpur District.

Recommendations:-

Bangladesh Minority Watch is very much concerned about this continuous
threatening of T.M. Mozahidul Islam, Superintend of
Police,Lalmonirhat. He should be asked why his conduct toward Human
Rights defender will not be rectified and why she will be held
responsible for threatening Advocate Rabindra Ghosh of BDMW in
Bangladesh without taking any action against the perpetrators of crime
committed at Patgram Upazila and Aditmari Upazila on minority
communities provoking previous act of misbehavior done earlier by him
at Chandpur District.

I contacted with the Inspector-General of Police –Bangladesh over his
cell number  but he was not responding at that time.

In the meantime I also communicated with the D.I.G of Police, Rangpur
Range over his telephone number 01713374640 and complained him about
the misbehavior committed by T.M. Mozahidul Islam,S.P.
Lalmonirhat,Bangladesh.

I also tried to contact with Prof. Dr. Mizanur Rahaman –Chairman of
National Human Rights Commission over his cell number, but his mobile
was switched off.

I, Advocate Rabindra Ghosh, during my ground zero work, am being
harassed by police officers, Advocates, perpetrators in many times
since 2002 and since then it is continuing.

URGENT ACTION is solicited.

With best regards,

Rabindra Ghosh

Bangladesh Minority Watch (BDMW) received an appeal relating to abduction, rape and forceful conversion of to Islam by four perpetrators:  Please see the link below -
Name of the Victim: Ms. Pinky Roy (11 years 9 months)
Age of the victim     : 11 years nine months.
Name of the father: Pulin Chandra Das
Permanent Address: Village - Velebari - Mejitari, P.s. Aditmari, District - Lalmonirhat, Bangladesh.
Religion of the victim: Hindu (Sanatan)
Names of the accused: 1) Mohammad Bullet (22)
                                    2) Mohammad Aminul Isllam (35)
                                    3) Mohammad Bablu (20)
                                    4) Mohammad Azizul Islam (45) : All of village : Pachim Velabari, P.S. Aditmari,Lalmonirhat.
Date of event:        29th April, 2014 at about 10.00 hours.
Case filed on 02.05.2014 ( Aditmari P.S. case No.4 dated 02.05.2014 under section 7/30 of Women and Children Repression Act,2002.

Facts of the Case:

The destitute Hindu victim Ms.Pinky Roy was abducted on 29th of April,14 by four Muslim perpetrators. Those perpetrators locked her in a nearby village and raped. The members of Hindu family demanded help from the nearby police; but the police remained silent till filing of the First information report on 02.05.2014.
Mohammad Bulet married the girl following the abduction day and converted to Islam most illegally, but the victim claimed to be completely unaware about the matter by a Notary Public. The affidavit sworn in by the victim is beyond her knowledge and the marriage document between victim girl and Mohammad Bullet changing the Hindu name into Muslim girl is a myth and concocted story.
Due to death of mother of the victim girl the father married other women and due to irresponsible attitude on the part of father of the victim, the case filed by father without mentioning the incident of rape and forceful conversion may lead the case frustrated.

Action taken: -

Aditmari P.S. Case No.4 dated 02.05.2014 under section 7/30 of Women and Children Repression Act was filed at Aditmari police station by the illiterate father of the victim.
I, on behalf of BDMW communicated with Md.Aslam Iqbal-Officer in Charge of Aditmari police station over his cell number 01713373947, he said a case has been registered and no perpetrators have yet been arrested by them.
I also had drawn the attention of Officer in Charge of Aditmari P.S. that why the penal section offence relating to rape and forceful conversion has not been incorporated in the first information report (FIR), Mr.Md.Aslam Iqbal replied that as the victim and her father did not say anything relating to rape and forceful conversion during filing of the case.
I also talked with Journalist.Dilip Roy (reporter of Daily Star) over his cell number 01719753607 who spoke with me and gave me to understand after thorough discussion with minor victim girl who described her ordeal and said " I have been raped and forcefully converted to Islam) Copy of the Affidavit made by victim forcefully obtained by perpetrator has been handed over to our correspondent - Dilip Roy. So, the story made by father during filing F.I.R. at the P.S. is far from truth. In this regard the police suppressed the material facts to conceal the rape and forceful conversion.
In this connection I also talked with Superintend of Police, Lalmonirhat over cell phone who also trying to conceal the material facts to help getting impunity to the perpetrators.
Recommendations: -

1. Bangladesh Minority Watch is very much concerned about concealment of fact of rape and forceful conversion of Hindu girl in the First information Report.
2. The perpetrators should be arrested immediately.

3. The abductors should be punished as per law of the land.
4. The State should protect the religious/indigenous minorities from ethnic cleansing.
5. The police officers responsible for suppressing the facts should be punished for their negligence of duties.
6. Necessary legal assistance including the psychological treatment for recovery from traumatized position of the victim should be given by the state.

Documents and papers:  After thorough investigation by BDMW the documents relating to this case will be attached. The matter has been reported in various news papers of Bangladesh.
BDMW decided to visit the place of occurrence within this week.

THE LANDLORD IS DESPERATE TO TAKE REVENGE FOR THE CONTINUED EFFORTS OF ADVOCATE VEERJI KOLHI FOR THE PROTECTION, SECURITY AND WELFARE OF THE 72 VICTIMS OF BONDED LABOR WHO WERE RECENTLY FREED!  IUFE DEMANDS THAT THE TERMS OF THE CP FILED AGAINST THESE FALSE ALLEGATIONS STATED ON THE SHOWN FIR BE MET COMPLETELY.  THE GOVERNMENT HAS STILL NOT COMPLIED TO AN ORDER OF THE HIGH COURT OF SINDH!
False Allegations made against Petitioner Advocate Veerji Kohli By the Landlord in this case pending must be immediately withdrawn. It is obvious this charge is false in lieu of the fact that the petitioner is representing the 72 victims of Bonded Labor. It is impossible to believe that this incident ever took place. It is well known that death threats have been made against Advocate Veerji Kolhi and the 72 victims of Bonded Labor daily. These threats resulted in an attack on Advocate Veerji Kolhi, his home and his family. This case has been forwarded to the necessary Human Rights Organizations as an addition to our initial report on abuse of these victims including Advocate Veerji Kolhi .  CLEARLY THIS CAN BE SEEN AS AN ACT OF REVENGE ON THE PART OF THE LANDLORD AGAINST ADVOCATE VEERJI KOLHI! The International community is aware of these False Allegations and immediate Agreement to the terms of this CP is requested!WE WILL NO LONGER TOLERATE ABUSE IN THIS FORM TO OUR ADVOCATES WHO ARE OFFICERS OF THE COURT OR THEIR CLIENTS. PROTECTION MUST BE GUARANTEED DURING ONGOING COURT HEARINGS!
